Sun College will be pioneer in bestow the Knowledge and Skills

Education is an essential human right of every woman, man and child, no matter who and where they are. To make these words factual, Sun Arts and Science College was instituted in the year 2009 at Tiruvannamalai with 5 UG Courses, under Tirumalai Charitable Trust.

A decade ago, our college was initiated with a tiny mission to pass on value based education to the students especially, who were socially and economically rundown. The college has rendered excellent service in education for the past 12 years and our college is Permanently Affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, in the year 2016.

The Motto of the institution is ‘Minds in the Making‘. Accordingly, the college continues to impart higher education to the poor students, who live in remote area of Tiruvannamalai.  The college has providing ample facilities such as, Library, Computer Laboratory, Science Laboratories, Internet, Language Lab and Sports activities etc. I strongly believe that the good quality education has the strength to change the life of a person, a community and the future of the globe. So, besides the regular teaching learning activities, the college is trying hard for the overall development of the students by conducting various extra-curricular activities with the sense of commitment to meet the expectation of the students and the society.

We confer prime importance to the behavioral discipline, moral honesty and rational growth of our students. The college has Students Grievance Redressal Cell, Anti Ragging Committee, Students Council, Alumni Association, Competitive Exam Cell etc. We persuade our students to involve in various social services by creating like NSS Unit, RRC, YRC, Eco Club, Rotract and Leo Club.  The college has created more openings through Job Placement Cell, by the way of conducting campus interviews. At present, we are having 11 UG programmes, 6 PG programmes and streams along with 10 research programmes (6 M.Phil and 4 Ph.D) in our institution.

Our prime mission is to promote and support the college to achieve the height of brilliance.
