History Of The College

Education is the knowledge of putting one’s potentials to maximum use. One can safely say that a human being is not in the proper sense till he is educated. This importance of education is basically for two reasons. The first is that the training of a human mind is not complete without education. Education make a right thinker. It tells man how to think and how to make decision.

The second reason for the importance of education is that only through the attainment of education, man is enabled to receive information from the external world; to acquaint himself with past history and receive all necessary information regarding the present.

So they started a Trust Under the name and style of Tirumalai Charitable Trust. The Trust deed was executed at Tiruvannamalai on fourteenth day of July 2008, and the College was started. It was named as Sun Arts and Science College. The newly established College was started in a leased building during the academic year 2009-10 which is approved by Government of Tamilnadu and affiliated to the Tiruvannamalai University. This is era of computer. The management focuses more on modern computer based education. As opposed to generations of the past, high school pass -outs today are unable to obtain the number of high-paying jobs that were once available. The U.S. and other western countries have been transformed from a manufacturing-based economy to a knowledge-based economy and the importance of a college education today can be compared to that of a high school education forty years ago. It serves as the gateway to better options and more opportunity. The College education encourages students to think, ask questions, and explore new ideas, which allows for additional growth and development and provides college graduates with an edge in the job market over those have not experienced a higher education.
